The CCM Super Tacks AS1 shoulder pads are highly protective but remain a great low-profile option for players looking for the best of both worlds. The fit remains similar to the original Super Tacks shoulder pad with slightly beefed up padding in the chest and rib cage area.
The AS1 shoulder pad delivers on comfort and mobility. A dual-layer stretch base jacket system and new adjustable straps in the front and back allow you to dial to your fit through the chest better than ever before.

Sternum Protection
AS1’s floating sternum system allows maximum mobility while still providing excellent sternum protection. Molded high-density foam embedded with D30 Smart Material helps with shock absorption.
Spine Protection
A floating spine design combines molded high-density foam embedded with D30 Smart Material, allowing players to be in the middle of the action at all times without putting their body on the line.
Shoulder Caps
The CCM AS1 Shoulder Pad combines Dual Core HD foam shoulder caps with the highly impact absorbent D30 Smart Material which deadens the impact to help protect the joint.
Bicep Protection
Two-piece floating bicep has custom adjustment to extend protection from crosschecks. When dropped down the extra protection piece covers the gap between bicep protection and elbow pad nicely.
Liner
A perforated mesh liner designed for maximum air flow and mobility to keep you dry, cool, and to keep the shoulder pad lightweight
